About EdRoute

EdRoute is an online school designed for those that don’t want to, or are unable to attend a traditional university, college, or trade school. EdRoute is designed to help students get through career training without all of the extra classes and extra costs.

The founder and owner of Edroute is Steve Bodell from Utah. Steve went through his own journey trying to figure out what he wanted to do for a career. He went to various colleges and universities to land where he is today. Steve studied/worked in the following areas: automotive, drafting, elementary education, residential and commercial electrical, electrical engineering, business administration, pre-medical, technology and engineering education, and leadership and emerging technology.

It took Steve nine years to get his bachelor’s degree because he kept changing what he wanted to do for a career. It then took him one additional year to earn his masters degree. Steve attended the following schools: Utah Valley University, Grantham University, University of Utah, Brigham Young University, and Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.

As you may know, 10 years of schooling is not cheap. On top of this, Steve was trying to raise his family. Student loans ended up being used throughout these years causing additional costs in interest.

EdRoute was created to help others get through training for life careers faster and cheaper than what is offered through traditional schools. EdRoute is here to offer knowledge and skills that could be used for life, and an opportunity for people anywhere to enhance their future through online learning.
